First Posting

I was thrilled to discover that the title A Thread Runs Through It was available for this blog. It combines two of my great interests in life:  sewing and literature. I will try to keep the focus on these topics here.  My goal is to make this a site that will inspire others.  I'll try to incorporate photos, tutorials, book recommendations and just about anything related to sewing and literature.  If you are inspired (or not) by any of my posts, I would love to have your comments.
